Account & Data Deletion

VatanCar lets you permanently delete your account and associated personal data without contacting support. While signed in, open Menu → Delete account (or Settings → Delete account), confirm the warning, and deletion is completed immediately. If you are signed out, the email-code form on this page provides the same self-service option.

If you no longer have access to your account email, contact [email protected] and we'll verify your identity another way.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal data, including:

• Your account and profile — name, email, phone number, seller details, and cover and logo images.
• Your car listings and their photos.
• Your messages and conversations.
• Your saved favorites.
• Closed auction requests and their privately uploaded documents, unless retention is legally required. Active auction requests must first be completed or cancelled.

What may be retained

We may keep a limited set of records for a longer period where the law requires it or to prevent fraud and abuse — for example, transaction or moderation logs. Anything we keep is retained only as long as necessary and protected accordingly. Some data may also remain in encrypted backups for a short time before those backups are cycled out.

Timeline

Confirmed in-app and email-code deletions are completed immediately. Once complete, your account and data cannot be recovered.
