Terms of Service

Welcome to VatanCar. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the VatanCar website, applications, and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account, posting a listing, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. What VatanCar Is

VatanCar is primarily an online classifieds marketplace that connects private sellers and dealers with prospective buyers of vehicles across the Gulf region. For ordinary classifieds, VatanCar is a venue only and is not a dealer, broker, agent, or party to the transaction. Separately, when you expressly submit a managed auction request, VatanCar acts as your limited bidding intermediary only for that request and under the authorization recorded on the Platform.

2. Payments and Managed Auction Service

For ordinary classifieds, VatanCar does not process payments, hold funds, provide escrow, or guarantee payment between users. For a managed auction request, you authorize VatanCar to place bids on the source auction only after operations discloses the source fees, our service fee, any required deposit, and the relevant deadlines. Your confidential maximum is a binding cap and we will not intentionally bid above it. Source-auction bids may be final and vehicles are commonly sold as-is; you remain responsible for reviewing the lot, condition report, source terms, taxes, registration, collection and delivery requirements. Any deposit is handled only for the disclosed request and is refundable or deductible subject to the source rules, costs already incurred, and any default penalties. Winning, vehicle condition, title transfer, timing, delivery and refund speed are not guaranteed. If these Terms conflict with mandatory source-auction rules for a particular lot, those rules apply to that auction.

3. Listings Are User-Generated

All listings, photos, prices, specifications, and descriptions are created and provided by users. VatanCar does not verify the accuracy, completeness, legality, or quality of any listing, nor the condition, ownership, title, mileage, or roadworthiness of any vehicle. We make no warranty or representation of any kind regarding any vehicle or any user. Buyers are responsible for independently inspecting vehicles and verifying all details before any purchase.

4. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be of legal age and capacity in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide truthful, accurate, and lawful listing information.
Have the legal right to sell any vehicle you list.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Treat other users honestly and respectfully.
Conduct your own due diligence before completing any transaction.

6. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use the Platform to:

Post false, misleading, fraudulent, or duplicate listings.
List stolen vehicles or vehicles you are not authorized to sell.
Post unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or infringing content.
Harass, scam, or impersonate others.
Upload malware, spam, or unsolicited advertising.
Scrape, copy, or misuse Platform data, or interfere with its operation.

7. Removal of Accounts and Listings

VatanCar may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, edit, suspend, or remove any listing, restrict features, or suspend or terminate any account that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law, or that harms other users or the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VatanCar shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, any listing, any interaction or transaction between users, or any vehicle. You use the Platform and deal with other users at your own risk.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory local law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
